Qld: Steve expected to hit between Cairns and Port Douglas = 2

Primary Industries Minister Henry Palaszczuk today flew to other parts of the state
just beginning the cleanup following major flooding last week.

As Rockhampton, Longreach and Winton residents continued to clean mud and debris out
of their properties, Mr Palaszczuk said the total loss bill could take some time to come
in.

Mr Palaszczuk began his tour at Longreach, where he visited several houses where the
cleanup was under way.
