Vic: Terrorism suspects won't get chance for bail, lawyer says

A lawyer for three young men arrested on terrorism charges last week says they're unlikely
to be granted bail .. or even be allowed to apply for it .. when they appear in a Melbourne
court today.

The men .. who were arrested on Friday night .. are alleged to be members of a group
with links to terrorist organisations overseas .. and face a maximum of 25 years in jail
if they're convicted.

Their lawyer .. ROB STARY .. says he doesn't believe they'll get an opportunity to
apply for bail.
